Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

The gigs page is updated with another show at the Edgewater for January 29th! We just wrapped a busy weekend playing there both Friday and Saturday, but it was a blast! They absolutely love us there, and every show we play gets a little better. Some preliminary talks of going on the road in the near future are developing, and I’m getting really excited about it! Also, my Dad bought me a Roland SPD-S Sampling Pad for Christmas, so I’ve been busy trying to figure that out. Soon it’ll add a whole ‘nother dimension to what I’m doing with Carson and Tess. Our bass player, Brent Rusinow, has also been busy figuring out ways to make the group sound better onstage with his Apple Logic Mainstage setup.

Snowflake/Celebration Lane are officially over with. This year brought a few new things and overall was very enjoyable.

Also, my friend an UW colleague, Gary Brattin, helped get me involved with writing battery/pit parts for a Chinese Marching Band show. So I’m now a bonafied international arranger! 🙂 Gary does a lot of drill writing for many groups around the globe. His website, cooldrill.com is worth a visit if you’re into that kind of thing.

Finally, private lessons are happening on Sundays at UW! If you’re interested, feel free to contact me for more information.

All the best,

-N
